Rooney Street Team

If you’d like to belong to the Rooney Street Team (RST), here’s what you need to do:

Send all of your info to:
cassidy@soundmgt.com

We need your full name, the city and state you are located in, phone number (if you feel comfortable). If you’re wondering what it means to be on the RST, I’ll fill you in. It’s all about spreading the Rooney love. You can make posters, stickers, pins, decorate your car, etc. Anything that will give people info about Rooney. We have a tour coming up this summer and we need help promoting the shows. It takes more than just an ad in the weekly newspaper and some flyers. It takes dedicated fans who will work the streets and build the band up in a organic way.

Cassidy will select a team captain in each city. The team captain is someone who can put in more time organizing how things will work in that city. Similar to how a quarter back calls the plays on the football field. If you’d like to be the team captain, then please let us know. We know a lot of you work or are in school and can’t dedicate too much time to the RST. For those of you who can, your help is greatly appreciated!

And if you’re located outside of the US, we still want you on the RST. There’s a lot of work to be done in this crazy old world and it’s up to all of us.

Thank you,

Rooney

Edinburgh

EdinburghYo World,

I’m in the dressing room in a venue called The Corn Exchange. I don’t know why it’s called that, but it’s a normal, large venue. The Good Charlotte boys just arrived and poked their heads in our room to say hello. They’re very very nice guys. It’s always good to tour with a friendly band. I did a youtube blog the other day with most of our weeks experiences. Next week we’ll be in the UK. I’m excited to be back here, it feels like it’s been long. We’re playing for new people at these shows, so it’s a different vibe from our headline shows.

We can’t wait for the headline tour this summer in the states. It actually starts at the end of the month. All of us just signed on to the myspace page and replied to a few hundred messages. There are so many to respond to, but we’re making a dent every day. Sorry if it’s taken some time to respond, but we’re reading all of them, don’t you fear. Also, if anyone is experiencing a problem with not being accepted to our friends on myspace, we’re working on it, so sit tight.

Life is good, I’m happy to be alive. After that near death experience on the flight back from Tokyo, I said to myself, I’m going to enjoy every second of my life.

I gotta get moving, I’ve been sitting on my computer way to long. I gotta shave too, I’m getting a little too scruffy. Later dudes.

For those of you who’d like to be on our street team, email cassidy@soundmgt.com

Thanks!

Robert
