Alabama!

We spent the day off in Oxford, Alabama yesterday and it was tremendous. Hosted by the Bridges family and friends, we enjoyed great food, water volleyball, jam sessions and some freestyle golfing. The batteries recharged, and the good times rolled. Bout to play here in Birmingham so I'll talk to ya'll later.

Rams Head in Baltimore

Rams Head in Baltimore

Hello Baltimore! Hello to everyone else as well. I've been slacking on the tour blogging but that ends TODAY. Many tales of life with Rooney and friends on the road to come. The wait is over. Resistance is futile etc. Let's kick some butt.

Back to the U.S.A

Back to the U.S.A

Well today was the final show of our Europe tour and what a tour it was. We leave the hotel at 4am tomorrow so some of us have decided not to sleep. We received a special gift from a friend at our record label which cannot be found easily in the U.S. but I will not say what it is until we have safely crossed the border. The show today was interesting.... It was a trade show type of tech festival and I've already forgotten what it was called. All I know is there were robots and basketball hoops that threw the ball back at you and people soldering circuits at tables. Some might have called it "Nerd-core." We fly to LA tomorrow and start our summer tour with bands Locksley and The Bridges on Monday in Salt Lake City. No rest for the wicked--or whatever dude. Just happy for the summer, and the sun. Thanks to everyone in the European union for hosting us so graciously, we'll be back in Germany this summer for Rock im Ring and Rock am Park festivals. See you there,

Sweet Milano!

Sweet Milano!

Well here we are in Milan with 30 minutes before showtime. There are some nice looking Italians filling into the club and it looks like tonight should be a good one. We just ate a delicious Italian dinner consisting of great bread, 2 types of pasta, veal (or fried eggs for the vegetarians), salad, and spinach. There were eleven of us at a big long table--a nice happy family. We have a day off tomorrow and I wish we could stay in Milan but unfortunately we have to get to Germany instead. Not looking forward to the long flight home on the 26th but it will be nice to be home for a few days. I'll be posting some more photos as soon as I get to a better internet connection.

Day off in Norwich

Well, not much happening here in Norwich. To be honest I'm pretty bored. Matt and I are sitting in our hotel room listening to music. The only things in our immediate vicinity are an ice-skating place called "Ice Experience," and an ASDA market which is basically an English Wal Mart. So far I've been everywhere aside from the Ice Experience and I don't see myself doing that any time soon. Matt won't go either because he fears he will be injured. It's been really fun doing cover songs in our set. We've been playing "The Weight" alot and it's gone over really well. We've got a couple more in the works so stay tuned for those. We've also been talking about what songs we might resurrect for the next album which is an exciting prospect. Very excited about our upcoming show in Ireland as it will be our first time there. I did an interview with an Irish journalist who claimed that Bono from U2 drinks at a pub near where we are playing so hopefully I can get over there and make his acquaintance. Talk to ya'll later.

Day off in Amsterdam

Day off in Amsterdam

Well as you can see from the picture that apple juice went right to my head. We had a great day off in Amsterdam today and checked out the Melkweg (Milky Way), which is where we will be playing tomorrow. Robert, Ned and I started the day out at the Van Gogh museum which was thoroughly enjoyable. Robert got a sticker that said "Van Gogh Expert" on it which he wore most of the day. Also check out the photo section to see the pink hat he got. After the museum we ate some Thai food and walked all around the city with the rest of the guys. So many bicycles! Tomorrow I'm planning on taking a boat up the canal. Two of our bags are still missing after our flights from the States which is a real bummer. Apparently London Heathrow just opened a new terminal and everything is ballistic over there. Hopefully we will get them back soon. Can't really do much without clothing it turns out. Anyhow, hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to seeing all of you soon.

Last J Bros Show

Well,
like all good things this tour is coming to an end and what a tour it has been. The Jonas Brothers have been plotting some kind of end of tour prank, and after our bunny costume extravaganza they'll probably be hitting us HARD. The bunny suits were fairly expensive but we figured that five realistic bunny costumes would probably come in handy again at some point down the road. For all of you Europeans out there, check out our upcoming tour dates and I hope to see you there. We leave for Munich in a few days. Very exciting to be going to Denmark and Sweden for our first time! I am sitting in the hallway of the IZOD center and the security guard behind me keeps drumming on the wall. I'm guessing he's not a professional drummer. I'm also guessing that he may have some kind of obsessive compulsive/attention deficit disorder. But his job is as boring as they come and I'm not about to ask him to stop. Instead I'm going to pack up my computer and go to catering for some food. Life on the road.....

Evil Woman

Hey there folks. I'm sitting in the dressing room in Manchester NH, and Robert is jamming to the ELO song Evil Woman. For anyone that doesn't know ELO they are one of my all time fav bands of all time and every time I hear their music I get stoked on life. I highly recommend their album "Out of the Blue." Most people probably have heard their hit "Mr Blue Sky." Be sure to check out our new photos as we have pictures of the Jonas Brothers tech Benjy's birthday which involved a JELLO slip n slide. It reminded me of the show Double Dare. People got slimed. It was great. Well we are on in 8 minutes so I bid you all adieu.

hey everybody. how goes it? i've been under the weather the last few days but i've been resting up trying to bounce back. its impossible to not get sick when you're living with ten people in one vehicle. hmmm, what else. after a long running video game ban in our bus, the j bros gave us an x box 360 and matt and i fell hard. we bought gears of war and have been killing aliens for days. i've also been re watching the beatles anthology. i'm enjoying the tour a lot but i guess i'll be ready to move on soon. definitely excited to play some headliners in europe. until next time. ned

Let it Blog

Welcome to the new blog section. After training 7 long months in the jungle, we now have the technology and the skills to write blogs whenever we feel like it in this very section. We'll be talking about important things like music and silly things like what I had for lunch. This is not an actual blog. This is just a blog about blogging. More to come....
