I gotta say, I'm not happy to be home. It's not that I'm having a bad time, I just miss the road, I...

Five Easy Pieces
Finally saw it, Robert. It would be good for you to visit or revisit. Jack Nicholson's wandering anti-hero was a real jerk, but I can still understand why he could never stop wandering. (val)
mm the Farrelly bros. Check out a french movie called The Valet, I think their remaking it. Their version will more than likely be funnier, but I enjoyed the french one. Just listened to you guys the first time today, and realized where I'd seen you from. Love the music, maybe you'll tour a little closer to me on the east coast next time around. Lateer
These are reasons I don't go out in L.A. It's too superficial and there's too much traffic! That's why I'd rather get some avocado sushi rolls to go, some yummy ice cream for desert, and watch a movie with friends at home. You're more than welcome to come if you're bored and tired of the materialistic L.A. scene! :-)
aww well if it makes you feel better, i cant wait til you get back on the road too!! just over a month til ur back in NY and i get to see u again!!
--speaking of movies, hows ur brothers new one? i REALLY wanna see it but havent gotten a chance to yet..
I totally agree with you...you should leave L.A. so you can tour and I think you should come to Virginia it would make me mucho mucho happy
Anyway be happy you can hang with your Grampy and your Mummy Dearest...you know if your not nice to them they can cut you out of the will and that wouldn't be cool...lol
Anyway if you're still bored on Wednesday you should go see the Ian Curtis Biopic Control...it's amazinggg!!!!
i just saw The Heartbreak Kid earlier today and i completely agree with you on it! There were some funny parts.......but it was a little too rediculous at some moments in the movie. "Heyy Dreamweaver" lol
its okay roberto!
soon you'll be back on the rode nd spreadin the love! i miss u just as much! :_[ but its okay cause ill see you verrrrry soon! after the st pete concert we can hang xP pls feel better! it makes me sad when ur sad.. lol.. just know that u r loved by millions!
much love hun~
*Danielle*
i was at home bored out of my mind instead of being stuck at home all week studying for midterms, atleast you get to go back to touring in a week, me i get to go back to studying for more midterms, yay! haha but i am lookin forward to seeing Rooney in "superficial" LA :)
Ok this is gonna sound like another random person who is agreening with the musician that she admires but I totally know what you mean. Funnily enough my experience happened at your Manchester Night and Day show. I met this dude (which never happens) and I was instantly smitten, we only talked for like 5 minutes if that and I probably made a total wang of myself but when me and my friends were talking about it as we walked to the car after your gig I literally couldnt explain the feeling I had gotten.
You are probably wondering why the hell I'm sharing it with you but I guess its easier to talk to a stranger about these things than to people you are close to.
Anywho I should probably go now
Much love x x
ps - why are there no north - north west dates on your show list in England? Thats pants! If you dont add anymore then I guess I will see you in London - Birmingham - and possibly Brighton.....what? You very rarely come to England so I'm gonna go to as many dates as possible x
... like a box of chocolates... sometimes it's nutty and there's always that one piece that tastes like crap. ;)
But milk chocolate tastes gooood. *stuffs 4 pieces in mouth*
*throws rest at screen*
Tastes good? Feel better??
Hi Robert..it’s the first time that I write to you.. I love reading the messages that you leave..this morning I read your message.. I think you are a special person..because you don t say thank s to your fans just on the stage but when you write something of you.. when you talk about your day.. you are showing us your love.. it’ incredible!!.. sometimes can happen that when you came back at home after a long time after other experiences and you feel yourself changed.. or you have just the perception that something in you is chancing.. you can't accept the idea that what is around you is so static.. but it s just a moment Robert…!!this is just my little point of view..
A caress for you..special boy! Chiara
be happy!!
before you know you will back on the road again making fans have the time of their lives!
ps come to the catalyst in santa cruz next time your touring!!
Dear Robert, I'm so glad to read that you enjoy a lot being touring and making fans happy!!! It's great! And even if there's no place like home we are all waiting for you to start again with your concerts!! And maybe you can plan a HUGE Italian Tour this time!!! xoxooxoxoxoxo Ilaria (be happy!!)
I´m glad you like touring so much, because I really liked your performance last week in Germany. Now I´m depressed, because you might not come to Germany for a long time. So if you like touring, pack your things up an come back...soon!
Anyway, enjoy everything you do and take care.
It sucks to hear you're not having the greatest time at home! I always hate coming home from vacations and having that depressing empty feeling =[ We can't wait for you to be out on the road again either! 1 week! Smile!
Karen
i can understand very well how you feel...anytime i come back home after been away spending nice time i feel very depressed and hate the place where i live.
Just think you'll be on the road in few days...next time i wanna see a pic of you with your shining smile =)
kizz xxx Barbara
Ok..... someone's bored! =P Funny pic btw!
As someone already said; it's only a few days, just spend it chilling out and hanging with your family + friends. V.soon you'll be back on stage doing what you do best! =]
Your grandad is 99? That's v.cool! Grandad's are the best, I miss mine loads! =[
I'll make sure I check out 'Eastern Promises'.
Hope you and your mum have fun at the LA Philharmonic.
Take care and relax!
Sam x
don't feel down! in a few days you'll be playing live again :) try to enjoy staying with your family and friends now, relax, you can't be working all the time or you'll be stressed out. Just... stay at home listening to music and reading or watching films, eat chocolate and m&m's! that's what I do when I come back to Barcelona after holidays and works (your situation it's different, but... it may work too?)
relax!
Oops. I almost forgot to add the positive side of Los Angeles..You can find almost anything in L.A....ice skating, parks, concerts, movies...plus, any type of food imaginable for the most part.
Yeah, Los Angeles can be a little depressing, but mostly it's just bizarre. You are in one place, that appears to be an extremely well groomed and maintained area, and you then you turn the corner...and you're in the ghetto. You're like, "whoah. The city must have run out of money right about...here." I'm not a particularly big fan of Tool, but a friend played me one of their songs about Los Angeles and about how superficial it is, the singer basically says that it's a free-ring circus sideshow, that needs to be flushed down the bay...(but with lots of profanity)..I guess I can't really give it all of what Maynard Keenan was going for..but you get the picture. A lot of animosity. I guess that's why I love the central coast..so beautiful. I'm sure you'll be on the road soon. : ) Until then...you could always make mini-road trips. :)
