everyone seriously needs to stop whining. obviously there are going to be winners and losers. its just whether or not you can be a good sport about it. its the people that complain that ruin it for everyone else. you'll just end up causing them to not want to do another contest.

when it said rooney inspired, i thought it meant rooney full out. my design kicks ass, none of this repetitive bullshit. i swear the chicago winner just copy and pasted logoes. i had old school rooney stuff too!!! ugh i'm so frustrated. i mean i saw rooney 4 times live and met them twice, but still i live for them and these contests. it's so discouraging to see my creativity (clearly better than the winner's) rejected constantly. i still love you rooney. and am still most definitely your number 1 fan.

It said "rooney inspired" so I made shoes I thought they could wear. If Tom's are going to make these as Rooney merchandise, I guess thats a different story, but at the same time, I would want the shoes to be cohesive so that I could actually fit them into my wardrobe. Oh well, its not that big of a heartbreak considering they're sharing the bill with The Jonas Brothers.

I feel like there are requirements that I didn't understand when I designed my shoes, also. The shoes i designed looked nothing like that. i tried to do a design that EVERYONE would want to wear, not just Rooney fans. Toms isn't about advertising your band, they are about a stylish way to make an impact in the world. I hope some designs that don't have ROONEY plastered all over them start to win a little.

all of these shoes look exactly the same. Did i miss requirements or something??
