Howdy,
I just returned to the hotel from a long walk. Not sure where I was, but I saw a sign that...

Charles Heston was a great actor !
I noticed that Charles Heston died just one month ago 6 April 2008.The last time that i saw him was in "Bowling for Columbine " the documentary movie of Michael Moore.I was desappointed when i knew that Charles Heston was the president of the National rifle association, but he was one of my favorite actors,i saw many film with him ,i remember The ten Commandments,Ben Hur,The agony and the ecstasy, about Michelangelo, Planet of the Apes ,Soylent green ,Airport ,etc
''we can be herooees, etc etc'',or so the song goes
Dearest Robert and/ or anyone reading this,
I haven’t read the book you mention, but what you write for some strange reason reminded me about this movie The Hours..
What you say about self-sacrifice sounds romantic and idealistic. If I’m honest though, I think real heroism and bravery lies in staying alive, and being here, today, for each other… (but, you know, really being here for each other. As simple as it sounds, I think it is not always easy.)
In that sense, i reckon there must be at least few heroes in this generation too :)
Hope you’re well, I’ve got a couple of friends touring and I know it’s not all shiny and happy… but that’s life for everyone, huh?
My cheesy advice: don't forget to hear the music and smell the flowers :PP
good luck with the rest of the travels - and glad you enjoyed the day off in Chicago (again, always one of my fave cities). You guys were awesome last night in Detroit - I will never, never get tired of hearing you play live! Thanks for a great time! And, personally, your concert was my "break" or "time out" from the week, so I appreciated it!
Alright, this is happening right here, right now!
The Crucible is a powerful and great play, however, I disagree with you that John Pocter was all you say he was.
First, he was a coward. He never admitted that he had commited adultry. He just kept it on the DL. Then all of a sudden...."oh, I am sorry I cheated...do I live?"
Second, he mistreated every woman except one, the one he cheated on, Hello! If he hadn't he probably would be slapping her around too.
Third of all, He 'finally" admitted it when his life depended on it. And he didn't want to ruin his rep. If he admitted he would have been shunned like in the Scarlet Letter, and if he hadn't well, he would be saved. Which is what he chose...he died to keep his mind at ease. The perfect escape.
Yes, he was a better human then Abigal, but not by alot. He brought his wife down, even though she was a selfless woman that accepted his flaws and forgave him. I am sorry, he doesn't diserve all the praise you give him. Yes, he didn't lie in his testimony, however, he lied about having an affair. That is much worse.
I enjoy The Crucible. I have seen the play. and read the book. Great book. It was written during McCarthyism. Interesting, huh? Okay, I am done...yeah.
Where ther's a devil ther's a saint, where ther's a burgler ther's a policeman ,where ther's a assassin ther's a victime ,where ther' s an oppressor ther's a resistance , ecc. Ther's always somebody who fight for the good or the evil ,so there are good heroes and evil heroes, because both have the audacity to die,but the most of people don't like to fight and prefere to live. Let to make the heroes ,the saints and martyrs to those people to which like and want to do it , in the majority of cases it don't needs to die for to be an hero ! I am happy to read that you feel good and you have a good time ! Please play for us and stay with us,we love you..
ROBERT!
I am pleased to finally hear from you! I am still waiting for another video diary! I go crazy for them. haha. I am glad you finally finished the Crucible. I read that last year and it was actually really good. I enjoyed how it paralleled to McCarthyism. I found that particularly interesting. Anyways, I will see you soon in June! 15th, 18th, and 19th...CAN'T WAIT!
Bye : )
Hey! I was at your show in Salt Lake. It was rockin. Thanks for that! Also, if you're in the mood for American classics, I just started reading The Great Gatsby again. It's loaded with meaning and sacrifice. Good luck on the rest of the tour.
Gosh, I've got If It Were Up to Me stuck in my head today.. No complaining about that though!
Hope you guys have the best time on your tour. Having almost no sleep sounds kind of unhealthy, dude, but I bet it's worth it in the end.
Stay alive, keep on rocking!

As Jesus proclaimed in the New Testament book of Revelation, just before he returns to earth again, he said there would be famines, earthquakes in different places, pestilences, wars & rumors of wars, and his saints would be tried and be put to death for his name sake. Yes, Robert there are people today that will sacrifice everything for God and deny the coming dictator miracle worker Jesus called the Antichrist. Many of today's Christians know about the coming mark that others will wear (microchip) that will bind them with him and with the mark they will be able to purchase food etc. Jesus also said that there would be severe drought and cows would starve from the drought. It's starting to happen. I've seen it on CNN news. (skinnycows). And he mentions a pair of balances referring to food scarcity and the high cost of food in the near future!!! It' time to put the armour of Light and do good and God's will for he is coming back to judge us all. The end of the world is definitely upon mankind. Many christians already know this.
You guys all definitely deserve a day off! Awesome to take in some movies and books....I don't think I would wish for your lifestyle, but I wish I had time to do those things once in a while. stay safe and don't push yourself too hard :)
