Rooney

I missed the AMAZING Rooney! Aaaah, that really sucks. Next time guys, ya gotta head to the U of M campus, Twin Cities. Northrop Aud, preferably... please? Haha, I'm not saying that because it's a 5 min walk from where I live, but it's a great venue, really gorgeous :) Plus, the whole 3rd or so largest campus body in the country isn't half bad either, exposure-wise.

the question is..when are you guys coming to boston??

This was my first time seeing Rooney, and I was not disappointed! I could have done without the drunk guys crowd surfing, but all in all? A stellar show, guys! Keep it up and can't wait to see them again!

It was so great to see them again! We had to leave right after the show, did the band come out afterwards?

the show was great. it was so good to see rooney again. the stage was a little high. it was kind of annoying. i'm short so i had a hard time seeing over the monitor...things.

I went to this. It was good, because it was outside and not too hot, and less people than I had pictured. I'm glad that I went. (:

im a little peeved because i thought rooney was playing later than what they are. now i might not be able to see them (;;) at all. could someone 'abduct' me from church at about 5:10? that would be convienent.

"gates" open at 12 and there will be local bands playing until 4-ish. then the official opening band will be playing... then rooney will hit the stage at 5:45(ish)

It is (as stated earlier) FREE to the public, even those who do not attend St. Olaf College. However, the college is dry so do not bring alcohol. I went venture to guess that it starts sometime in the afternoon, although I have not seen offical info. More on that later, or maybe Lutefest could actually answer that

thank you for all the info! i'm looking forward to this show. as are my friends. it'll be the first rooney show ever for my roommate, and the first show in almost 2 years for my friend. so we're all pumped.

Lutefest is open to the public and free for everyone. St. Olaf is a dry campus however, so no alcohol please! Come enjoy the show!

I believe it is free for St. Olaf College students. I am not sure if it is a public event or not. Let me get back to you on that. I go back to campus tomorrow, and I will check it out, ask around. I am like 99% sure it is an outdoor event, afternoonish...probably. I'll get back to you about the other question.

I am soo excited! I have always wanted to see you guys perform and now you're coming! That is amazing. How much will tickets be and is it going to be in the evening? Perhaps an outdoor concert? You guys rock!

I actually go to St. Olaf and am super excited that Rooney will be coming. This event is called Lutefest, and there was discussion of calling it off or having a no name band this year. Glad that that didn't happen. :)

Fear not dear brigitte for me and morgan will be there. I think we beat though, we have a 7 hour drive! Gosh I really wish they had more shows, so we didn't drive all that way for one show but oh well. Its been a long time.

my roommate, my friend and i are going to road trip there. it'll be fuuuuun. it's a 6 hour trip or so. we're making a weekend of it.
