Yeah I was just checking. but anyways. So what do guys think of the new songs aka new direction of Rooney and their upcoming tour with the black eye peas "if i only had a brain" Fergie...you'd get that if you had seen Grindhouse.
theres a review and photos from the Europe tour here

I can's seem to start a topic alkjf, so here: I found the radio station giveaway to AC HOB, get it in gear because it's TOMORROW Saturday May 19!
Go to my Comments under Atlantic City in on the Tour Date Page. All the info is there.
Love Fergie or hate her these are free shows and with a little digging there are ways you don't have to buy a dang phone to get in. And Rooney is, after all, playing.
It's a tour with Fergie headlining. I mean, think about it though. They toured with Kelly C. as a headliner and that turned out great. Great exposure for the band and they are still the playing a similar set just a bit cut down. I think it'll be fine. And with the new album it's good timing for that kind of publicity.
They aren't coming to Seattle. I mean, I don't know if I will be able to afford the show anyways, but still, no Seattle? I don't understand when bands ignore Seattle on tours. It happens so often. We have an amazing music scene, and a lot of huge bands (past and present) have come from our area. I just never get it. Oh well. Maybe we will drive down to Portland.
They're not touring with the BEP...I asked them and they said it's for sure false. As for Fergie, I dont know but I SERIOUSLY wish they wouldnt tour with her for the sake of my sanity.
My biggest complaint with the Fergie tour stuff is I won't be able to afford to go to a show probably. I mean I love the low key Rooney stuff because it's either free or it cost less than $20, and that's getting to be up close and everything. However, the Fergie shows are probably going to be upwards of $50 which I can't reason away by seeing Rooney for only 30 minutes and then leaving because I don't like the main act.
if i know i've got a ride to take me home(last week's show didn't end until after 1,wtf!),or that i'm CERTAIN there's an all night metro bus running near my house, will i see rooney again tonight.
i wanna see Simon Dawes again too,foremost...i love the Carnivore album <3
"ummmm"@Rooney's new material.i like a couple of the new tunes, but others...will need some more time to grown on me.
*shrugs* oh well.
I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one who finds the fergie and rooney combo. just a little bit weird. It will def. get them lots of exposure but fergie's just so... skanky. Although I'm totally guilty of dancing around to "glamorous" while putting my make-up on lol
I dont hthink they shoud be touring with fergi to premote there album cuz if they wanted to premote there album they would go on tour with someone as big as fergie but like the same type of music... people who listen to fergie probly wont even like rooney
I wouldn't be against a Fergie and Rooney hook up although it doesn't really mesh well together. But, more power to 'em! Black Eyed Peas... not so much.. i'd protest a bit. haha. Rooney can do no wrong. they're fantastic. Music changes and evolves. Not everything is meant to sound the same.
its so weird, i haven't been on the site in YEARS, and daria169, i remember you from like...2002 or 2003, i remember your name.
anyways, i have a really big internal conflict now: support the black-eyed peas and see rooney, support rooney but also implicate myself with the blackeyed peas....its really a moral dilemma...
what? have they gone nuts or what? O.OU
anyway... what I heard now from the albums sounds so good, so i think we'll have a fabolous 2nd album... but... with BEP? are you serious? ._.UU
on april 16th i would have made a hard decision rooney for the kajillion time or Kenna for the first time...i think i would have gone with Kenna but I should have loved to hear the new Rooney songs in their entirety but alas i was not in L.A. so yeah. hahha
I tried looking up tour info on a Fergie/Rooney tour, but got nothing...could somebody please tell me where to find the info or when this tour is going to happen??? Thank you!
tour with black eyed peas? where have i been? but i have to say i'm loving the new direction rooney is doing with their new album! i've heard some songs at the roxy and i like it alot! :)
