what the hell does that mean.
but thats besides the point. that video was well just being a little robert being over the top it seems. and went well for the song i guess. funny none the less.
i really like it. i don't even like that style of music, but "this old machine" really kicks my ass. i've also wasted a lot of my ratio on oink trying to get a decent copy...i finally got one
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for Jason to tour. I think this record was a side project/creative outlet for him. I don't even expect him to headline any LA gigs. He might play along with someone but it would be a favor type of deal. Also, Jason IS Coconut Records. There isn't any other formal band members. He had GUESTS on the album but I am pretty sure he is the sole member of Coconut Records.
I got a bit freaked out when I kept seeing "coconut records" pop up, I wasn't that confused since I first heard a Motion City Soundtrack song. Gosh darn ambiguous band names, imagine if they all appeared on the same bill... Coconut Records, New Young Pony Club, Motion City Soundtrack, Tokyo Police Club, Youth Group, Silversun Pickups, Scissors For Lefty...... casual music fans wouldn't be sure if it was a festival or a list of inamonite objects
hhmmm... It might be me who misunderstood the message. I understood it like is was the skateboarding video that was the official one, and that Jason was making another unoffial video. But I see that it could be the other way around. So it's probably just me who got it backwards ;-)
I def. love it... bought it on iTunes and I think it's amazing, listen to it a lot :-) Not so crazy about the video for West Coast though.. But I guess that's mostly because I'm not into skatebording.. I do think Gonz is an amazing skateboarder - but not really what I expected.
