I know we already had this threat a few months ago... but I think it's time for a new one....
So..post the most beautiful song that you know!!
Here's mine :
Snow Patrol - Run
wow...jeff buckley songs...hahahahaha omg i just remebered something funny! anyways most beautiful songs are "famous last words"-My chemical romance. "Keep on lovin you"- The donnas version "Smells like teen spirit" and "all apologies"-Nirvana and lastly it would have to be "chocobo theme" from final fantasy 7! hahaha c'mon you know you love it
"Dream On" by Aerosmith especially if you have heard it live...in the music videos (from the 70's) all the people are crying, blowing kisses, or otherwise emotionally breaking. It's a beautiful song; you can tell Steven Tyler really feels a lot when he sings it. Or he's high-BUT WE LOVE HIM ANYWAY!
For me it's definately Snow Patrol's Set Fire to the Third Bar, I love Gary Lightbody and I think that anything that he puts out can make me want to cry, but this song describes a situation I'm in perfectly.
It's called "Brilliant Mind" and it's by Furniture. The song was in the movie Some Kind Of Wonderful, if that helps anyone recognise it. That & pretty much every slow /mellow Jeff Buckley song (Mojo Pin, Lover You Should've Come Over, Last Goodbye, the Dancing In The Moonlight cover) makes me cry everytime for some reason. Go figure. Guess I'm a softy.
"Across the Universe" The Beatles
"Let it be" The Beatles
"Imagine" John Lennon
"White Queen" Queen
"All Dead, All Dead" Queen
"Spread Your Wings" Queen
Say Yes (Elliott Smith), Butterfly (Weezer), Something Is Wrong (Phantom Planet), Sad & Beautiful World (Sparklehorse), Lost Cause (Beck), Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime (Beck), You Remind Me Of Home (Ben Gibbard & Andrew Kenney), Sara (Bob Dylan), Closer To You (The Wallflowers)...
i think the lyrics aren't that special, but doug's voice gives me the shivers each time i listen to it.

on a different note: i need some rooney-fan to help me out. i'm not able to start a new topic. could someone please do that for me? i'm searching for the old wallpapers of rooney, when they were at the beach. i got the back then in summer 2003 and i kept digging to all my cd-rs without success. i'm in desperate need of them. so please is there some kind soul who could start a topic and request them for me? i'm sure some of you still got them =)
this was one of them: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2125/3714/400/Rooney.jpg
i would have to say "Welcome To The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance
that song pretty much own my life right now and i want to cry everytime i hear it
I thought "Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley" would've been a shoe-in. Whoever mentioned "Stay Where You Are - Ambulance Ltd" is my new best friend. "Bright Eyes - Simon and Garfunkel" is pretty moving too, Good times.
Uh, I pick The Beach Boys' "Don't Worry Baby", Rilo Kiley's "About the Moon" (or "More Adventurous"...I can't decide), and Van Morrison's "Crazy Love."
I'm seeing Van in 16 days!
the harmonies in "Crazy Love" by Poco give me chills
but lyrically you can't go wrong with anything by Jim Croce... "Had to say I love you in a song" is insanely sweet... which I suppose makes it beautiful... to me anyway...
"Soolaimon" by Neil Diamond is great... love the flutes!
Gosh.. tough.. I could go on and on....
I think this answer changes for me all the time but I am going to have to say "Stay Where you Are" by Ambulance LTD, "More Yellow Birds" by Sparklehorse or "Sad Peter pan" by Vic Chestnut. Ahaha so I gave you three there. Enjoy!
be the one- gileah

^check it out...and not to sound natalie portman-ish but it will change your life
Run is a great choice but since you said it I will pick another. I think it's a tie between Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World and Let It Be by The Beatles. Both of those songs get me everytime.
