...the Snow Patrol lads are from Northern Ireland (so still British)...Scottish...Irish...English...Welsh...we're just one big happy family....when it comes to music anyway ;) Yeah, the Bluetones and Futureheads are British (both English)...havntheard the Bluetones in YEARS...you've dragged up a classic band from the past there my friend - top stuff!
Snow Patrol are lovely. They're Scottish though but i'll not pick hairs. Maybe jump on the Arctic Monkeys bandwagon, everyone else seems to be doing so (They're not my thing but they are catchy). Also try the Bluetones, the Futureheads (well i think they're British), The Sunshine Underground (again, i'm not too sure), Dirty Pretty Things... lots of great british indie bands at the moment but can't be fussed to name them all.
...Richard Ashcroft. He used to be the singer in The Verve (who were also top class). Download his latest Album "Keys To The World"...highlights are "Break the Night With Colour", "Music is Power" and "Keys to The World".
