it would be greatly appreciated if contact information was posted on the site. hate to be a posting maniac, but i wrote one earlier about a benefit concert i'm trying to throw together. can't seem to get a hold of you guys but everyone would love to see you there. also, i understand that ohio is probably the most boring state in the u.s., but those of us who aren't caught up in suburbia or farms (trust me, we're few and far between. a rare breed.) would love to rock out with you guys some time. so a tour date to ohio wouldn't be SO bad now, would it?

a group of us is hosting a benefit concert for the oppressed children in sudan and uganda... just wondering if there was any interest or if anyone knows of any bigger bands that would be interested. all proceeds go to the Invisible Children program. let me know, thanks.

So, there has been several threads about how weird the new board is and what it's lacking, so what exactly do you miss? Post it here, and if there's enough complaints, they shoouuld be able to do something about it...maybe. Because a lot of what this board is lacking, is standard forum-stuff that you'll find on practically ever damn board online, except this one. So, my list of complaints; making line changes with enter doesn't work, no private message system, no editing-fuction, no preview-button, no way to post images or highlight your text to make it bold or into italics, the threads doesn't jump up to the top when they're replied to which means that you have to remember how many posts a thread has to see if it's been updated, no post-count, no moderators (as far as I can tell), the log-in only works now and then if you want to log-in after pressing "New comment" and..hmm, I'll think of more later. On the good side; more structure, avatars, the slowness of yesterday has disappeared, better profiles, nicer design.

yes new boards are going to take some time getting used to for me...anybody else semi-feel the same way.

So... When I tried to log in to the newfangledish boards, I had to re-register. Did they not transfer over the old logins? I noticed, though, that some people (the only person I can see right now is CertainlyNotWayne) have earlier "Member Since" dates than April 2006. Explain???

I tried to post a picture using [img] brackets but it messed up. I'm really hating this board. Another suggestion - allow us to edit our posts.

Is there some way in which you could show who last posted in a section, because otherwise you have to click on each of the sections to see if there's anything posted. At the moment we can only see the number of topics.
