Well, I got to keep my "member since date", but I had to change my display name, because my old one was too short. That's okay though, because at least I've got the same screen name on here now that I use on any other board.

i was a member since like july '03. but i have no idea what address i used back then. my old info didn't carry over either. i used to be rooneyfan89 on the old boards.

my info didn't transfer over, but I guess that's because I've only been a memeber since like, last October cause my computer had some privacy thing on it that wouldn't let me register for years. Oh well, fuck it.

yay my old name worked...at first it didn't cause i couldn't remember what email i used back in the day so i made a new name but then today i tried a lot of different emails and i found which one i used!

Same here, I had my old login updated with my current e-mail address, and it still didn't carry over. Ah, well, at least I don't seem to be the only person this happened to.

and i had to re-register, and i haven't changed my e-mail address. but they don't seem to show post count anymore.

i just put in my email from before and i was already registered. i was kinda surprised, i dodn't think i had been on here that long.

So I tried just logging in and voila. That's why you update your profile when you change primary email addresses, kids.

That totally sucks, I wish I'd known...I can't be asked to go register my old one to keep the date, I might do though...If I'm really that worried about it lol.

I didn't have to re-register but when i tried to sign in on a different computer it said there was an invalid symbol in my name which must be the '. Fortunately, something to do with my cookies on this computer let me sign in. Does this mean that if i sign out i'll have to re-register because it won't let me sign back in?

Nope, I had a registration date of like... back in 2002, and now it says 2006. I'm a little bit disappointed. :P

I thought I had to re-register, but it said my e-mail adress was already registered, so I tried to log in like before, and it worked.. And I've seen quite a few people on today with the same nicknames as on the old boards, so I think they transferred the old member database. I did, however, have to remove the space in my nick (it used to be Certainly Not Wayne) when I wanted to edit my profile.
