that's so sweet about the bridges! they really are very nice. i wish i could have talked to them more. i only got to see them once. maybe if they come back my way i can see them again. i LOVE their album. hasn't left my car since the show!

Really great review! I wish i could've gone, its just soo far from where i live that i could never get there unless i was already on vacation there or something. Haha thats so cool about your niece. This is why Rooney has such a good fan base, they're so nice to their fans. I could think of some other bands that wouldnt even care about a little 10 year old! (no offense) sounds like you had a great concert! :]

I was more glad to see Louie out from behind his keys. He was the only one I could not see the entire time becuase he was lifted and the stage was high so I could barely see the top his head over the keyboards.{/q}

That's funny because at the show in Detroit no one was elevated which made it hard to see Louie and Ned all together. Louie was almost invisible. Which makes me sad because I like watching him bop around.

{q a=[[randomhero2006]]}So just got in a bit ago from the show and I can say I had a blast.

First off, I am now a fan of THE BRIDGES! They were really good. They all looked so friendly and lively on stage. I have a really sweet story that I'll finish in a bit.

Locksley I was eh with. Probably only because there was a group of young girls next to me that INSISTED on screaming everytime a band member walked to the end of the stage. But they do have an AMAZING stage presence which made for a good set even though I was not familiar with their songs.

And the main event:

I was lucky to get a barricade spot right in front of Robert so I had a perfect view of everyone. Unfortunately House of Blues is so anal about cameras that all my pics were taking on my phone = not so good quality. Bummer, I know. They opened with "Blueside" but I was not able to steal a setlist so it gets hazy after that but they did play(as best of order as my brain can remember):

Ned did vocals for "The Weight" and "Rockin' in the Free World" in that song played drums while Louie played guitar (which was a nice sight :]). I had asked them to play "Daisy Duke" like 4 or 5 different places and I am about 95% he said it was for me but the girl beside me screamed right when he started talking and I only heard the ending. But as soon as played the first chords I yelles "Woo Daisy Duke yes!!" something along those lines then he said "___ is for you. And I know you're out there cuz I heard you yelling." So maybe I was imagining it but my sister said she thought she heard it to so I don't know. ha ha Also I am proud to say I am pretty sure I was the only one who knew the words to "I Don't Think So" (which I thought was called "Pin Me Up"?) We had a lil moment during that song because I imagine no one else was singing.

So after the show was the lame-o meet and greet but we took my niece who is ten and she REALLY wanted to meet them so we headed over. At which she decided to tell Rob "Hey you're in The Princess Diaries, huh?" he responded, "Why yes, yes I was!" I just laughed it off because I figured she's young and that is how she associated who he was.

So we went over to The Bridges merch table but I had only $9 and their CD was $10 which I mentioned to them while I was taking a picture then they all were bummed and offered to chip in the other dollar. I'm thinkin I'm not make theme pitch in for me to buy theid cd. ha ha So I stepped to the side to rummage my purse for change I found 60 cents. :[ Then Natalie walked over to me and says "I have a dollar we really don't mind." (awww, I know , right?) But then my sis found another 50 I handed it to her and SUCESS I had the cd. Seriously, sweetest people I have ever met.

Ok I think this is really long and there is probably some rambling. Sorry. But anyways great show minus the issue with my camera.

And I am now about 80% positive I'm going to drive out to the show in Anaheim)

Oh before I forget, I told Natalie that Stacey (sp?) and Erin speak very highly of them and she blushed and said to say "Hi".
