"I'm not sure if we're going to make it to seattle this time around, but this is just a shorter tour and we're already planning for more dates, so be on the lookout!"

So hopefully that means they'll be back soon.

Detroit is on the 9th (a Thursday) so that doesn't work. BUT, Chicago is on a Saturday which might work out great, actually. I could always get a hotel and spend the weekend in Chicago.

yes i've also heard about *said* band opening for locksley. wow is all i can say. that would make a fabulous show! much more balanced i think than locksley/rooney. i'm holding off buying tickets to another band's shows cuz i'm waiting for them to announce something. i hope it happens!! but i'll be at locksley's shows no matter who opens. they are my boys :)

However, from what I have heard about Locksley's headlining dates recently, I don't think they have the power to do a huge headlining tour either.{/q}

Well, it would be Locksley's headlining tour. And I don't know, the band that they've been talking to has done some mini-headlining stuff before, but nothing big. But they do bring a crowd, generally speaking.

I don't know anything about headliners, but Kai wrote this in Locksley's blog a few weeks ago:

"The crowds we've had the opportunity to play for have been fantastic, and I hope we'll get the chance to play for everyone again quite soon (most likely this fall, more to follow on that score)."

so they're planning on touring this fall, but I don't know with who. sorry if this is redundant. :\ I know the few recent headliners they did were just a couple of shows before they went on break, like the one in Des Moines.
