7/20 Anaheim show...

Who's going?

I'm thinking I'm going to get a friend to sign me in the park before hand so I can see all my old co-workers. (That and I want a Dole Whip Float real bad! ha ha)

Re: Fun

{q a=[[pictureboothfun]]}However, the only real complaint I had with Anaheim was that Locksley was starting to get on my nerves. They were taking way too much time to finish their set, unless that was part of their prank to do so. I couldn't help but notice that the Ronney guys were getting a little frustrated with that. Did anyone else notice it too?{/q}

LOL but Locksley was so amazing, I could have watched them play all night. They're my favorite people to ever be alive.

Re: Re: It's a miracle!

{q a=[[vintageboots]]}blueside23: you captured some of the most memorable events of that evening. thanks for uploading them. seriously, did you have your camera in hand the entire evening? ...poor ned, i don't think he saw that kiss coming.

i was closer to the stage on the left too. overall, it was an awesome show. certainly better than last summer's tour. the cover songs really added a new dimmension to their live shows. "Hungry Heart" was brilliantly done.
{/q}

I was originally really scared to keep my camera out so during the Bridges it was hidden for most the set. Then I realized they weren't going to do anything and started recording during Locksley.

Once they commented on it being the last night of the tour, I was like there's going to be pranks and it stayed out pretty much from there out. I was like trying to film around the girls in front of me which was hard and then my memory was filled so I had to start deleting pictures and some Bridges videos. Sad. But I had to get some of the end stuff so yeah.

I hadn't seen Rooney since like the end of 05, so it was a great show. I was so happy. My best friend was being such a brat though, he was whining about his feet so I didn't stay for the meet and greet. LAME. Yes we've met them before but still.

{q a=[[randomhero2006]]}{q a=[[blueside23]]}So my computer hates me. Really. After like 50 tries I got all the videos uploaded.

Edit: So I'm guessing you can't hyperlink on here anymore? The urls are super long so I'm going to split them up so they don't mess up the formatting.

I want to see pictures too, but HOB venues are so strict about the no camera policy, you were lucky enough to bring your cell phone in. {/q}

I actually snuck my camera in for the first time EVER. I was scared to death but didn't even get the metal detector used on me. I snuck it in my bra and the guard I had patted me down a lot, she was strict. I was standing to the left of the stage on the side by the bar and this security guard on the opposite side of the venue kept watching but didn't do anything.

Anyways, I got pics/videos of the show, so I'll try to upload them soon and post a link here. Haha.

{/q}

awesome, hurry up, i want to see!!{/q}
I'm uploading right now. I left them to upload yesterday but the screen closed and my internet security kept trying to block the uploading. SOON!{/q}

{q a=[[Poppers986]]}{q a=[[pictureboothfun]]}{q a=[[Poppers986]]}{q a=[[pictureboothfun]]}Hey guys, first time poster. :)

I've been seeing your usernames in every post, practically. Haha so neat.

I, too, went to the Anaheim show, as well as the Hollywood one. And I totally agree with La Star that Anaheim's crowd crushed Hollywood's. Bigger venue? I don't know but there were a lot more people at the Anaheim date.

I'm a little torn between both shows because I enjoyed them equally. However, the only real complaint I had with Anaheim was that Locksley was starting to get on my nerves. They were taking way too much time to finish their set, unless that was part of their prank to do so. I couldn't help but notice that the Ronney guys were getting a little frustrated with that. Did anyone else notice it too?

I met up with the Rooney guys before the show started and personally asked Robert to put "Believe In Me" in their setlist. That was the one song I wanted to hear at Hollywood, but they didn't play it. Sure enough, "Believe In Me" was played at the Anaheim date and I was ecstatic.

By the way, I really enjoyed The Bridges.

How was the show for everyone else?{/q}

oh i forgot, were there any pranks? {/q}

Yeah, there were a few. But nothing drastic.

During Locksley's set, the Rooney and sound guys came out on bicyles and rode across stage. They also put baby powder on the drummer's cymbals.

During Rooney's set, the Locksley guys came out very randomly. They came out with stuff written on their shirts (I forgot what it said). There was one time where they all brought out the Bridges girls and starting dancing in pairs. Another one stuck out where two of the guys came out with two girls on their shoulders and started dancing around on stage.

I forget if there was more, but that's the extent of it. Pretty mellow.{/q}

haha the bicycle prank sounds fun, anything duing the bridges set?{/q}

Nah, nothing during the Bridges set, though I think would've been fun to see the girl's faces.

Oh man, I totally forgot about the Locksley guys kissing Ned when he came out. He seemed a little mad, no? I got a weird vibe.

I want to see pictures too, but HOB venues are so strict about the no camera policy, you were lucky enough to bring your cell phone in.

{q a=[[..La..StAr..]]}I went to both Hollywood and Anaheim shows and I thought personally that there were more people in Anaheim then at the Hollywood show. His brothers were there. I sat behind them in the VIP section. The guy let me and my friend sit there. I like Anaheim HOB better because they have sitting upstairs if your there early. Also its not as dark upstairs compared to Hollywood, just my opinion.{/q}

so anaheim upstairs good for a discreet makeout session.

Yeah I'll be there in my dreams. haha. seeing rooney at disneyland would have been cool. of course i would have been more excited about disneyland. last time i went was feb1 of this year and before that was 1994. so yeah.

Yeah I am so disappointed about not going to Hollywood. It's just I don't drive and my best friend hates driving in L.A. We went to The Party a couple years ago and got lost and ended up going in circles for a while so after that he was done.

Ah yeah I was thinking about using the lining of my purse. Well it'll depend on what I wear too.

Re: Todaaaay...

{q a=[[blueside23]]}Haha, yes I'm a girl. I still don't know if I'm going to try and get front. I'm thinking about ways to get my camera in, but I'm still nervous. I know Anaheim HOB is pretty strict, but I'm just hoping this show isn't considered as high profile and they'll be cooler about it. I've been to shows there but never tried to break the camera rule but then I always see a ton of cameras. Hopefully it works.{/q}
If it's any help I got it in with no problem at the show in Hollywood.

But we got there about half hour after doors and the people outside were pretty chill. But my camera was also hiding in the lining of my purse.

ha ha

Have fun! After the Hollywood show I didn't think Anaheim could top it so I drove back home.

Re: Fun!

{q a=[[blueside23]]}I'm glad to see I'm not the only one going to Disneyland before the show. My friend and I have passes too.

What time are you guys planning on lining up? Sadly, since my friend refuses to drive to L.A. we haven't seen Rooney in ages and he was trying to figure out what time to line up.

Oh, and cameras? Anyone planning on bringing theirs and how if so?{/q}
I'm not getting there until doors. But I've already seen them in Vegas and will see them in LA.

At the Vegas show doors were at 6 we got in line at like 4:30 but no one REALLY showed up until 5:30. But if you want a definite barricade spot eat there first then you get priority entrance.

I will be bringing a camera but I'm not saying how I am getting in until after the show. Sorry. ha ha

Some ideas for you though: if it's small enough put it in something you would normally carry in a purse (whoops I'm assuming you're a girl but I really have no idea. Sorry if you're not!) such as a cigarette box or maybe a box of candy such as Mike and Ike's. Or you can hide it in your shirt. If they scan you and ask what is just say your bra. :] But somewhere in a purse is a better bet because they don't scan your purse just your body.

Hope that helps!
