I think it looks kickass, and I don't even like the sixth book that much. Seems like more of a showcase for Michael Gambon's talent than the other three movies have been. Also, all the back story with Voldemort seems like it will be pretty engrossing. If they can make this movie seem less shallow than the book (and that won't be hard), I'll be happy.

i was expecting more! but i guess this story is more about tom riddle than anyone else, so i was not suprised that it focused on his character most.

I'm pretty sure it is 2 parts as in, you watch 2 hours, get a 20 minute break or something then come back and watch the rest. Not 2 parts as in two different movies where you have to pay twice.{/q}

So...I just looked at website for one of the cinemas here... It has a list of movies to come and it seems like it'll actually be 2 separate movies.

I REALLY enjoyed HBP, but I couldn't stand the beginning. The book was released like the day before I went to Italy. I bought it and tried to get through the first chapter like 20 times and couldn't do it. I was lugging that 10 pound book around Italy for NOTHING.
It is a lot better of an opener NOW that I know the whole book, but I don't understand her logic of it. I just couldn't get into it when I first tried.{/q}

My friend was like that too with HBP. He bought it like a week before I did, we went to the midnight release and I got it like 4 days later when I got paid, and I had it finished in like 2 days. He still couldn't get past the first chapter! Haha.

I'm soo excited for the movie though. I'm planning on going to the midnight IMAX showing like we did for OOTP. Fun. I saw the 15 sec teaser trailer with The Dark Knight and was disappointed it was so short but it was still exciting.

No, Half bood prince is one movie, deathly hallows which isnt coming out until 2010 i think? idk, is in 2 parts, one coming out in January and one in may

my friends are the types to dress up. Its oddly a lot of fun.. but then again as you get older dressing up for midnight showings gets a bit strange. Never the less, I'm sure we will once again dress up for the midnight movie.

as for being too tired... thats what energy drinks are for.

ME, i remeber i wentto the midnight showing of GOF, everyone was dressed up except for me and my friends, anyway it was lots of fun, i dont know if id do another midnight showing though, id be too tired lol
