you oughta know, VH1

I think its a load of crap that VH1 thinks highly enough of themselves to feature Rooney as a "you oughta know artist". Just because they only recently discovered Rooney's talent doesn't mean no one else already knew about them. They make them [Rooney] sound like a bunch of kids fresh out of high school that stumbled upon a great sound - not the case. The fact is if VH1 is as cool as they are supposed to be
(to think they need to introduce us, as fans, to new music), then maybe they should pay a little more attention to pop culture (that they pride themselves in knowing so well)... then they would already know that Rooney was featured on "the O.C." on more than one occasion. Thanks for the update VH1, but I could give a s*** less what you belive to be an artist I should know about (to bad I have for years).
