I didn't see anyone write that it wasn't hard maintaining good grades and a job! They're just saying that it's possible - which it is!

I strongly doubt that. How many people answer to you at your "job?" The beauty thing about having a higher education is that you don't need to work 7 days a week. I still do because I have a lot of responsability at my job but I've earned my evenings and weekends. You'll understand when you're older.

Ignorant? It is possible to manage both. Why the hell can't you get a summer job? If you have time to go to California you can go to work this Summer and take a trip next year. Some people juggle raising a family and working and you're saying that high school is taking all of your time?

My parents paid for a really sweet 14 day trip to Spain for me where I was immersed in Spanish classes.
