It was basically your typical "too cool to move" college scene and I feel like Robert was pulling teeth for reactions. He did get pretty ingenious though by constantly bringing up the school and homecoming. The audience seemed to like that. It just seemed like most people didn't want to give them a chance. Plus, as far as sound goes, it wasn't their best. I don't think it had anything to do with their playing, but to how the gear and sound was set for them. Taylor's and Ned's mics barely had any vocals. I think the stage was already set for Chuck and Rooney was just something before him in the tech guys' eyes. It just seemed off. I didn't know they were going to be in Iowa City.

I will not be going. That's a bit to far for me to drive to see them. Back in 2003 I saw them in Iowa City. But I was in college then. Things have changed.
