who killed the boards....

a couple weeks ago it was up and moving with convos galor. and now its dead and you lucky if you find anyone commenting on anything or making a new thread. maybe we need an update from rooney.

i say all of us who have made videos in response to rooney video on youtube should make a video. pleading from an update. at least one to let us know there still alive.

yeah thats just an idea.

Re: I Shot the Sheriff (but I did not shoot the Louie Louie)

Real Life burnt me out, and too my last 5-6 Rooney shows were wack with all the Jonasing going on on top of feeling life is just too heavy. I'm trying to get back to where I can start having some fun again though. Might go to Richmond. At least the boards are actually still here to come back to so thanks to everyone for that. and oh yeah the band too. pleh.

Re: who knows?

I miss the old boards. I think either everyone is busy or they don't care anymore.

Re: bad speler lolz

I blame the lack of Jonas Brudder fans who can't spell even though they're well above the typical age that most people are expected to have mastered the spelling of most words.

If you can't talk about how hilarious it is that people don't know that you're is a contraction of you are and that your is a pronoun. Then again I don't think they know what a pronoun is let alone a contraction. I know this stuff is covered in elementary school with a follow up in the 7th grade. I believe public school kids get a grammar refresher their sophmore year of high school as well.

What else is missing...

The nonsensical ramblings of our foreign friends.
People making up ficticious versions of actual cities.
People begging for bootlegs of music from complete strangers on the message board of the band they're trying to get bootlegs of.

I think the real reason is that everybody is back in school and, as incredible as it may seem, are focusing on their studies. They'll be back in June though I expect they'll be just as stupid as they were this last Summer.

apparently both my sarcasm and clarity were substandard today....

i was referring to Alaleh's post about the street team store, and how it was later permanently bumped to the top of the list of topics. i think on other boards that would be a bulletin.

also, i meant the new icon for gauging a topic's popularity. in this case, the red thumb tack with a yellow star over a blue background. i've never come across one on these boards before.

please forgive my lack of appropriate message board terminology.....i need sleep, it's been a rough day.

Re: hmm

I dont have much to talk about really. Not much is going on in Rooney land and it's hard to just make something up. Well, it's not hard to make something up but it surely is not productive Rooney banter.

Call me crazy, but I actually LIKE that someone is watching over the boards. Things can get outta hand around here real quickly if the right people get involved and someone needs to have the power to get it under control.

I actually have more free time now that I am in college lol.

Hopefully the silence from Rooney means they're working hard on a new album.

No idea but I've noticed the same thing. Maybe lack of Rooney updates + school back in session (from the sound of it many posting here are high school/college students) = less topics??? I dunno. Summer's over and it sucks. :( lol.
