Guess Who Won a Contest to Meet Nigel Barker?

I entered a contest recently thinking "i'll never win.." Guess what?! I got the call today telling me that I get a 1 year membership to an art museum, and a pass to come and hear guest speaker, Nigel Barker from America's Next Top Model, speak at the museums anniversary this Thursday. Oh, yeah, and i'd get to meet him. *jaw drop*

And guess who can't go because of work? That's right.. the same gal that won.

I'm so bummed. Cheer me up!?

We're planning to go around Valentines day, but that's only if our other friends that are supposed to go too can also get time off at the same time. So, dates might change. The baby will still be too young for Vegas unfortunately. We go out of town a lot though, so I'm sure one day we'll make our way down to San Diego.

We're planning on going in February too! If we're there at the same time we'll definitely have to meet up. I have a friend in Vegas who is in the porn industry & can hook us up with a lot of amazing things.

watch the Friends episode where they talk about their list and you'll know..

Nigel was laminated in my mind.

Hahahah.. I actually watched that episode a couple weeks ago. Isabella Rossellini shows up and she didn't make the laminated cut.

I used to think I had my list set in stone, but recent events have caused me to mix things up. I'm still thinking Jason Mraz, Luke Perry, Jared Leto (if he didn't speak), Ryan Lochte, and Adam Levine.
I, like Ross, have a backup that would probably take out Jared Leto.
But Nigel is a damn fine choice.

Man, I think I would count it as a blessing that you can't go if I were you. You're a married lady, right? All I know is that if I ever met Nigel Barker, I would be tempted to throw the whole faithful vow out the window.

Sadly, I help run a small branch of the bank. Just two of us. And when one of us is out... the other HAS to be there because no one else is trained for the position.

Well it turned out that I won it, but luckily they changed it to a private concert at the last minute. It taught me a lesson though. Never lie when entering contests, because you just might win.
