Default Rooney Tattoos?

Hey, some people are bothering me about getting a tattoo ever since I said I was not against it. I have always liked the idea of one but I am such a fickle person and flit from obsession to obsession. I realized though that Rooney has been pretty constant in my life, I've been a fan for around 8 years. But I still have no idea. I was wondering if anybody had any Rooney related tattoos and/or pictures of ones? I was thinking the plain Rooney name or the bear but then I think people would just think I am a fan of California. Any ideas?

Thumbs up No

Sorry hun but if you're just as fickle i am about "fads", i don't recommend it. however, if you have remained consistent with this fad then more power to ya! perhaps you could just get the "R" since it's so flowy and that way you can express your love for the band but years down the line you can have it mean something else if you choose. i have a tattoo that i got for Nsync (i know, i know... forgive me). the point is don't get something that you'll regret later on, because i'm spending a fortune to get my tattoo removed.

i was thinking about getting a rooney tattoo on my left shoulder blade. i have a hanson tattoo on my right shoulder blade and hanson lyrics on the inside of my right arm. i have a few more hanson tattoos in mind, too... but i need to ease up on the ink-age, though.

but rooney... i was going to do the bear with lyrics going around it, but i am really glad i didn't go through with it. heh. Rooney has been in in my life for almost ten years, and ten years isn't just a phase. and all my tattoos have personal meaning to them, more than, "oh, i like butterflies. i like fairies. i like roses." maybe i'll get some ideas from the new album. or maybe i'll just get "rooney" in the braces logo as a tramp stamp. or the mastodon from the mastodonia EP...

Default "Not being against it" isn't the best reason to get a tattoo...

Say no to peer pressure. I personally wouldn't get anything Rooney related. Their lyrics aren't anything special. If you want something related to Rooney, but not so obvious, then logos are the way to go. If I saw someone with the bear tattoo though, I would assume they like bears. I always suggest people sit on their idea for a year before going through with it.

Default Wow!

Guess I am in the minority here.

I have "Just let it be..." on my wrist. A lyric from "If it were up to me" because I absolutely love that song.

Well, it's not about peer pressure, I do like the idea of one. I have been thinking of getting the battlestar galactica logo, because it is non-descript I'm just not sure. I was just curious if there were Rooney ones out there. As for the lyrics not being anything special, I disagree. I think they are some of the most interesting lyrics. I like that just let it be. It reminds me of Let it Be by The Beatles as well. That was a good pick.

It's not the case. I enjoy them and their music, but lyrically, there's really nothing that stand out, at least not in a way that I would want immortalized on my body. If the most interesting thing about "just let it be..." is that it reminds you of The Beatles, then that's saying more about The Beatles than Rooney.
