Name: Sammy/Samantha

School: I'm a sophomore in high school.

When I grow up: I don't know. The future scares me.

Rooney: I read the Princess Diaries books and liked the movie a lot. My friend told me that the guy that plays Michael in the movie has a band! She has one song by them (Blueside) and kept telling me to listen to it but I kept putting it off. Eventually I listened to it and really liked it so I got the rest of the CD. This was when only the first album was out. We then saw that there was a Rooney concert coming up soon at the Cat's Cradle about five minutes from where we live.

Pets: One overly large cat named Kona.

Websites: Oh goodness, where to start? YouTube is number one followed closely by Twitter. Tumblr, Hulu, Netflix, Threadless, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Ebay, Dictionary.com, Facebook, assorted Blogspot blogs, Daytrotter, Apple, Wikipedia.

On a friday night I am: Watching television or videos on YouTube.

My name is Jill. I'm currently a housewife. I'm already a grown up (28 years old.) Eventually we plan on having children and I'd like to be a stay at home mom at least until my kids are school-aged. I went college. I have a bachelor of arts degree (two majors - Psychology and Social Work.)

I started listening to Rooney in 2002. I found them after looking at Princess Diaries on IMDB.com.

I regularly visit facebook, youtube, and a few Disney websites.

The dog in my avatar is our little American Dingo (Carolina Dog) named Lucy. We adopted her from a shelter on September 30th, 2008. She had a rough life before we came along. I think she's a very happy dog now though (even though I put stupid stuff like mouse ears on her and take photos.)

Random fun fact - I met my husband on the old Rooney message board.

- Maria's the name.
- Currently studying for my undergrad degree, but also working for my students' union.
- Not sure what I'm going to be when I "grow up", but with Psych and Communications under my belt I should be a... ya, no clue. Livin' each day and finding new things to enjoy and excel at, so let's see where that takes me.
- Sleepless night after reading the Princess Diaries, Volume III. Recklessly indulged into fictional Mia Thermopolis and Michael Moscovitz relationship that I needed more. Anything sufficed, and a link to the Rooney site calmed me down. One of the most enjoyable events in my life so far.
- Websites: my work's e-mail inbox, Facebook, Twitter, LJ, my school's e-mail inbox, and looks like these boards will be a new addition.

Hello, my name is Caitlin. I am 22 years old.
I am currently looking for a job in this wonderful California economy and will be entering Cosmetology school this year.
Ideally I'd like to open my own salon that focuses mostly on hair and make-up alone.
When I was... around 15 years old, I saw a program on MTV that showcased Rooney and have been listening to their music ever since.
I'm a Facebook addict.

what do you do/or go to school: I work in the apparel department at Goodwill. i've been there for seven years. i went to school here in town for two years, then i finished college at UW-Milwaukee and got a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. (i worked at goodwill during breaks and summer and some weekends). After graduation, i returned to my hometown because i'm poor and can't afford to live anywhere that's not my parents' house. i wasn't really into school. i only went because i had to. my parents wouldn't let me go to the school i wanted to go to, so i finished up as fast as i could. Advertising just seemed like the quickest and easiest way to get done.
what do you want to be when you grow up: I want to work in the 'biz. i want to go back to school at columbia college in chicago for music business. and do whatever i'm best at. i really want to travel. perhaps be a manager. i really like planning road trips, and i think it's easier to "manage" someone else's life than my own because i'm looking at it all from the outside and i can see things without a clouded vision. does that make sense? one of the hardest things for me to do is stand by and just watch my ex boyfriend's band make so many poor choices because the "leader" is too stupid to understand reality.
how you got into rooney: the princess diaries, yo. november of 2001.
what websites do you regularly visit besides this one. facebook & livejournal. and hanson.net... i go through spurts with that one, though. it depends on what's going on.
and so on and so forth...whatever you want to say. i wish rooney would tour more around here. and rooney has given me so much... so many friends, so many experiences and adventures. i've enjoyed them for nearly ten years.

My name: Miriam
What do you do/or go to school: I originally went to school and triple majored; Theatre Performance, Technical Theatre and Political Science with a minor in English Literature... don't ask me why. I love my classes and found everything I was doing interesting but school wasn't for me. So, I moved to NYC and went to an acting conservatory there. Which leads us to...
What do you want to be when you grow up: Exactly what I am now. An actor. I'd just like to work more. (I'm currently trying to pay back my student loans)
How you got into Rooney: A friend of mine moved home from California with her family and made a Thanksgiving mix cd for me with 'But Wait...' on it. They only had 2 demos out at the time and I fell in love.
Which websites do you regularly visit: Huffington Post, Fred Flare, NY times, McSweeney's, Modcltoh, twitter and many more...
I have two dogs named Max and Brinkley. I'm from Canada and proud of it.

how you got into rooney: I saw an article in Teen People sometime in '03 featuring Rooney as an up and coming band. Went out and bought their cd and have been hooked ever since.

what websites do you regularly visit besides this one: I don't actually visit this forum regularly. I visit a couple of city forums for where I live quite frequently, my flickr, facebook, twitter, livejournal & lastfm. I don't have that much time to browse the internet, really.
