Amsterdam

Hey there,

I'm sitting on the bus outside the Melkweg in Amsterdam.  We just finished the show and loaded out.  We did a meet and greet, our first one in Amsterdam, actually, our first real meet and greet in all of Europe.  There was a long line of fans, it felt like we were back at home.  I was given two amazing gifts, one of them is a book called "The Bumper Book of Bunny Suicides," and the other gift is a music box with a crankshaft that plays one of my favorite songs, "Singing in the Rain."  The show was intense.  We played a very long set and I got a little tired in the middle of the set.  We closed the set with California Girls by the Beach Boys.  It was cool watching everyone sing along and dance.  It was a Sunday, so we had to work extra hard to get everyone to go nuts in the crowd.  It's a rainy day here.  Ned and I shared a hotel room last night and we couldn't sleep at all.  We were up till about 5:30am, still adjusting to the time change.  I'm eating some banana and peanut butter as I type this.  I'm very excited to get back Holland this summer.  We hope we can play the Ping Pop festival here, but if not, we'll do our own show.  We're about to drive to Zurich Switzerland right now, which is around a 12 hour drive.  Wish us luck.  Later...
