Rooney accoustic show tuesday night!
This just in...Rooney will be playing a special accoustic set at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood Tuesday night!. The set will include songs from the first 2 records as well as some never before played cuts from the upcoming release. In addition, Matt, Ned, and Taylor will also be accompanying Boston transplant and epic power pop troubadour/songrwriter Bleu, who is hosting the evening in celebration of his new record, "A Watched Pot." It's going to be a great night of entertainment. The show starts at 9 p.m. and is 21 and up...sorry kids.

Rooney shoots cameo in new Sofia Coppola Film.
We spent the day at the world famous Chateau Marmont on the set of the new Sofia Coppola film, Somewhere.The movie stars Stephen Dorf and Jackass' Chris Pontius. Though Ned and Louis lost a last minute coin toss to appear in the film, keep you eyes peeled for Matt, Robert, and Tayor. Rumor has it Matt may even have some off the cuff improv. big day. we named the album. we decided to record 1 more tune. we worked on the album art/package. soon its off to mixing, and booking some shows. wow. not bad, eh?

Rooney plays Conan O'Brien...sort of.
hey everybody. we finished recording our new record as of last night! we're very excited and currently shopping around for the perfect mixer. more on that to come. in the meantime, conan o'brien called and asked us to perform on the test episode for the new and improved "tonight show." of course we said "hell yes" and we will be shooting that on may 27th. it's not actually going to the air but we will be able to use the footage for the web so check back sometime early in june. have a great weekend.

| been a real long time
we have lots and lots of new music and breaking news for u. cant blow it all in this post, but if u stay tuned a little longer we promise that all kinds of rad stuff is coming ur way soon. we have recorded about 13 or 14 songs...and we plan to keeping going for at least 2 more weeks, before choosing the songs that will go on the album. we are also itching to play live again, sometime soon. --taylor

| Iron Man: Armored Adventures
On April 24, 2009, a new show, Iron Man: Armored Adventures will be launching on the Nicktoons Network, and Rooney lent their talents to recording the theme song! The music video will begin airing on March 29, and a full episode sneak peek will be available online April 17.
